إِذْ تَقُولُ لِلْمُؤْمِنِينَ أَلَنْ يَكْفِيَكُمْ أَنْ يُمِدَّكُمْ رَبُّكُمْ بِثَلَاثَةِ آلَافٍ مِنَ الْمَلَائِكَةِ مُنْزَلِينَ
When you said to the believers: Will it not suffice you that your Lord should reinforce you with three thousand angels sent down?

Indeed, if you remain patient and conscious of God, and the enemy come upon you suddenly, your Lord will reinforce you with five thousand marked angels.

And God has not made it except as a glad tiding for you and so that your hearts may be reassured thereby. And victory is not but from God, the Exalted in Might, the Wise.

Belief in divine power necessitates a steadfast faith that God is capable of all things, as though the invisible hands of the Lord make the impossible possible. Conviction in the angels existence, as immaterial yet influential entities in the material world, demands metaphysical acceptance that unveils the veils of matter and reveals the reality of existence. The manifestation of angels entails perceiving their presence through signs or tangible effects on the battlefield, as if a divine breeze blows amid the storm of war, reassuring the believers.
The address in the verses to the Noble Prophet (peace be upon him) with the phrase إِذْ تَقُولُ لِلْمُؤْمِنِينَ indicates his mediatory role in conveying the divine message.
